Traditional IRAs
Plan for your retirement today with our traditional IRA. Contributions are tax-deductible and dividends are tax-deferred. Choose either a variable or fixed rate account. The variable IRA accrues dividends daily and they are paid quarterly with no required term. The fixed rate IRA is available for accounts with a minimum of $500. The 18-month term certificate earns daily interest and is paid semi-annually.
Roth IRAs
Roth IRAs provide savers with an option to save for college expenses and first-time home purchases. Contributions are made after taxes; however earnings are tax-deferred. Choose either a variable or fixed rate account. Contributions can be made through direct deposit, payroll deduction, multiple deposits or a lump sum deposit.
Roth Conversion IRAs
You can rollover your Traditional IRA to a Roth IRA; however the transferred amount is subject to tax. Please consult your tax advisor to help you determine the tax owed. Choose from either a variable or fixed rate account.
Coverdell Education Savings Accounts (formerly Education IRAs)
Save for college tuition, fees, books, supplies, equipment, room or board at an eligible college or vocational school. Contributions are not tax deductible but distributions are tax free if used to pay the mentioned expenses for the account beneficiary.
SEP IRAs
If you have an extra job or you are self employed this IRA is for you. You may contribute up to 15% of earned income, not to exceed $30,000. This is an excellent way to shelter this extra income from taxes. As with any IRA always consult your tax advisor for additional information. Take the first step to a well-planned retirement!
